It’s morning time, the sun is rising you give up your offering,

A prick from a stick, and squeeze and lick

It’s the dawn of another day’s suffering

Clean as can be,

But no chances taken here,

There are germs that can’t be seen,

Picking up dirt when I touch my shoes, when I touch

my clothes, who knows where they’ve been

So under the tap rubbed in soap dry and harsh,

Repairing this skin is no easy task

Washed before, washed during, washed after,

It’s like some joke without any laughter

So many holes, so many scars,

No wonder sometimes you leak,

The skin is tough, the skin is hard

No room for tender or weak

Where others may flinch you endure the pinch,

A little wound won’t faze you
